Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park
After the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur, spending some time relaxing on the beautiful beaches of the five islands that make up this park. The islands are reached by ferry and offer everything from snorkeling and scuba diving to hiking or just relaxing by the crystal clear waters.
Penang
Penang is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers traditional architecture and cultural events alongside modern buildings and activities. While in the area, tour the Tropical Spice Garden that features the native plants of the area, while also enjoying a traditional meal in one of the 5-star classic hotels.
There are additional sites to see in the area, including the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre in East Malaysia. There are also beautiful reserves throughout the country that offer hiking and trekking through lush wilderness areas.
