Everyone at one point in time has had an item that they either received as a gift or bought that they didn’t want/need. If you’re lucky enough to have gotten this product from Walmart in North Carolina, the return policies are typically easy and convenient depending on the item. There are a few exceptions and cutoff dates that all Walmart employees have to follow but they don’t make returning an unwanted item impossible.
General Return Policy
Walmart returns in NC are fairly easy to remember and is convenient for the amount of customers that the store receives every day. Walmart will repair, exchange, refund, or even replace almost any product within 90 days of purchase. Best of all, any item can be exchanged! For most products, they do not require a receipt or proof of purchase for any of their services listed above. This makes gift giving easier and less stressful for those who don’t keep every receipt for everything they’ve ever bought.
Exceptions
Now, of course, there are always exceptions to the rules. Walmart has certain products that have shorter and longer return deadlines than the general one and most of those products require a receipt. For example, all electronics and outdoor tools have to be returned within 15 days of purchase and the returner must provide the receipt. Airbeds have the same rule except if they were used, they can only be exchanged for one of the same or greater value. Plants such as trees, shrubs, and perennials can even be returned if the receipt is provided and it is within a year since they were purchased.
Returning Purchases of $25 and Up
Walmart has one policy that many other big retail stores have in place. If a person were to want a refund for a purchase, the purchase or item must have been under $25 for a cash refund. If over $25, the returner may only receive a gift card as a refund. Visit Bottom Dollar Wholesalers.
